There are many errors that Windows users encounter out of which error code 0xC004C003 is also in the list of common errors.
The error is basically an activation error
But this error should not happen while you try to upgrade to Windows 10 from your Windows 7/8.1.
Actually this error occurs on computers/laptops that try to install Windows 10.
Here are some fixes that you can try to get rid of the error
Reset your PC
Just reset PC/laptop and the issue can be fixed easily. This solution can be effective at times, but it is worth trying and here is how you can do it
Click on the button – Start—Go to- Settings
Click the option –Update and Security
Go to – Recovery located on left pane
You will view -“Reset this PC Option”, click –Get Started.
It will take a while for the process to end.
When you reset your PC it will delete all the folders and files from, your system drive or the particular drive where Windows 10 is actually installed. Thus do not forget to backup your files before you reset your PC
Clean Booting of PC
Firstly, just run Windows and next enter the command given – msconfig and click – OK
Once done, you need to open -General tab and now click particular startup and clear – Load Startup Items search box.
Next, you need to click on – services tab and choose the checkbox -“Hide all Microsoft Services”
Finally, click -click Disable all, click OK.
RUN -SFC scan
Firstly, you need to open – cmd as administrator
Type, -SFC/Scan now and simply press –enter and then let the process complete.
The process will take a little while to complete and in case if displays any errors in result history then you need to take necessary which is relevant for the error.
The command –SFC/scan now will start scanning the protected system files. It will automatically replace the corrupted file with cached copy present in folder labelled and compressed on – %Win Dir%\System 32\dllcache.
The %Win Dir% placeholder represents the Windows OS folder for instance- C:\Windows.
Note: Do not close command prompt window till the 100% verification is over.

Ping Network Starts With Microsoft Servers
To carry out this step, you need to click – Start menu and look for Next, once you see cmd windows expand, just type in the command stated below
NS lookup office365.com
At last, just replace office365 with existing versions. The result you see should display the address of Microsoft servers.
